I used the same ports on a sailboat that I built. I trimmed them out just as you described, with wood rings that I made from some purple heart I had lying around. Worked great.

Purple heart sounds nice.

It's been about a year since we've heard from you. How is the project coming along?

Dan,

You do beautiful work! I’m planning to build a trailer with similar layout. Your build has been an inspiration to get me looking for a frame. Was yours home built or was it another kind of trailer in a previous life?

We’d love to see updated pictures of your trolley top!

how far have you gotten with your trailer.

is it done?

mine is still in the works, I work on to many other projects at a time.

After I get my arm out of this arm shling I want to make it sleepable. Miss camping.

Looks like someone has started IRG up again.

Thank you Brian. I used Google SketchUp to do the designing and drawings. SketchUp is a very good tool and best of all it is FREE.

Dan

I love your design, how can I download the schetchup design?

Dan hope you are ok
I went to your gallery and found you put some more updates on your build up to a year ago May 2022

To those who are watching Dan and his wonderful build look at his Gallery, it helps some.
Hope he finds time to post.

I have let everything get in my way on my build, but now that I am retired I plan to do something every day.
Dan when I get mine done, I hope to see you camping out there.

Say hi to the Kids for us.
