I do not remember reading so I will ask.

1 what goes in the hole at the bottom side?? the battery??

2. where will those growing kids sleep?? are you pulling new and old trailers?? am I getting ahead of what you have done so far??

3. looks like you will be done before the IRG

Thank you for the compliments on the profile. I borrowed the profile from Dave McCam's Atma Travelear, I enlarged it and added the trolley top, but the main credit should go to Dave.

The opening behind the wheels is for a storage compartment. There is an opening on both sides and I will use this area to store the awning and chairs.

My kids will sleep in the front area. There will be bunk beds that will be 32" x 76", so should be big enough for even me to sleep on.

The storage areas and beds can be seen in this drawing.

My goal now is to complete it by IRG.

What trim or molding do you plan on using for the inside corner of the trolley top on the outside? I am building one and have yet to find a suitable aluminum trim for the inside roof edge.

I plan to cover the outside in fiberglass and epoxy. I will have a fillet on the inside corner. I choose fiberglass because I could not find a ideal way to seal the inside roof edge.

You could look how Jackdaw handled the inside corner on his trolley top design. Seems like it would work fairly well.

Perhaps something like this would work: http://www.vintagetrailersupply.com/Cove_Moulding_Small_p/vts-707.htm.

It is feb. how is it coming. is the weather letting you work. got any new photo's. Once I get my windows on the trolley top I will be able to get the roof on and get to work on my walls. How is the fiberglass work doing?

No progress here. Got hurt at my job, got most of my top teeth knocked out. Had to have two surgeries and now I am the proud owner of a top denture plate. Could have worked some on my trailer, but just wasn't in the mood to do much outside of my job. Then I had bilateral carpal tunnel surgery, so have not been able to do much for a month now.

Other than that I am really trying to win the award for loooooooongest build.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your set backs, Dan. You'll get through the trials though, and when you do get back to the build I'm sure it will continue to be a good one.

Think positive thoughts and, if applicable, do the physical therapy so you get the most out of the surgery.
