Pretty Good day of sawdust flying!
Skinned the rest of the roof, framed the bed, framed the porta-potty closet and ran the electrical rough in.

Image

When I built the drop floor, I ran it from frame rail to frame rail. The last 12" on the drivers side becomes a little foot well for the closet. The potty then sits in the front corner. Closet measures aprox. 22 x 43 inside. Door will be just a curtain. The rear wall is a single 1/4" ply panel. The side wall is framed with 1 by and becomes the electric wall. The front of the trailer will have a mini-frig, A/C, storage and a counter. Everything from the drop floor to the rear is bed and storage under.

I really missed the count on the clear 1x2's and 1/4" Ply. Also miss cut a sheet leaving "football" patch in middle of what was supposed to be the counter top. New Receipt: $136.07
Also a 120V Power Inlet: $18.31
Total: $1661.40
I Hope I'm Done Shopping!

starleen: Made me go out and take inventory......I'm Done Shopping! :)

Ageless: I call my addiction "An Investment"!

Sanding, Sanding, Sanding, Sanding and then it was time to do some sanding.

Mixed more Epoxy, this time with no Thickener and Sealed the outside. Will need to sand with 120 when cured, prime and paint.

Sad Day...
Started to Paint the Porta-Potie Closet when I heard a Frantic Banging on the Camper. Griffin chased the neighbors jeep and was run over in front of the house. I think he thought it was my jeep and I was leaving him. I tried to get him to the vet, but sadly, he did not make it. :(
A few of you met Griffin, some too close. He was full of energy and always ready to play. He tried to stay close and "snuck" into many of the build pics.
I will miss my Buddy.

Thank You all for your concern with the loss of Griffin. I have to say that the house is empty without him. I did not wish to change this thread to a "pet thread", but things happen.
So... while I am on the subject of pets, Adopt, Adopt, Adopt. There are many animals in this country that really need a home.
Having heard of my loss of Griffin, I was told of a puppy that Really needed a permanent home. I could not resist her eyes and have Adopted her.

Meet Samantha!
Image
She's a 13 week old Siberian Husky/Golden Lab mix. You can tell from the picture, she has taken over this area of the house! A little skinny because she wouldn't fight for food in her overcrowded situation. Hopefully my adopting her will ease the food situation for the other full grown animals. None of the others looked super, but I could only help one.
It is amazing having a puppy around again. Griffin came home with me after much urging from my employer and the promise that I could bring him to work for a "shop dog". That lasted a week until his kids started fighting over the puppy. That meant he would have to stay home alone 10 hour a day, NOT the way to raise a pup. Now that I'm unemployed/semi self employed, Sam will get lots of love and attention.
:)
Now that the rain has passed and there are 3 or 4 sunny days ahead, the camper will be getting its finishes. More pictures to come and I'm sure Samantha will "sneak" into a few of those too!

Sorry to hear about Griffin - how old was he? Samantha is a cutie and I can see how she was hard to resist.

Nice build too, btw.
