As much as I want to start to put color on this thing, I'm thinking I need hinges first. So the galley and the doors are attached. I guess maybe not... Paint separate then attach, touch up if needed?
And paint scheme? Anybody want to toss out ideas, they shall be ignored :R unless I really like them

That looks great! :applause:

I would prime everything first; then fit the doors and hatch; then, lay out any graphics that cross. If they are easy to remove and reinstall, take them off to do the paint work (maybe the doors would be easier than the hatch).

Then, if you decide to add pinstripes or a border between colors that cross over the joints, do those after everything is reinstalled, so that it all lines up.

For graphics/color scheme I would do something classy and subdued that accents the nicely curved profile, no tribal graphics, swoosh stripes nor die cut decals.

Maybe a simple stripe from front to back mid wall, with a scallop extending up and down the front of the profile.

Looks great. Show us a side shot so we can see the new roof vent.

Ok... Paint is underway. I posted questions and whatnot in another thread. I would put a link but my computer cluelessness is only slightly less than my humility :R

Copy the url (the website address) from the header line and paste it into your post surrounded by the URL button brackets with no extra spaces.

For threads on this forum you can select the whole thread, or by selecting the little white sheet of paper icon next the the header of a particular post and copying that url, you can link to a specific post.

paint plan
Ok there it is. I know some of you make it easier and say things like 'clicky' but that should work
And for what it's worth, I already have a modification on the design,

If you want to get fancy relabeling links, you can reconfigure the [url] brackets like this using the equals sign:

[url =your pasted url link here]type what you want it to say instead here[ /url]

I left a space in front of the = and in front of the / so you could see how it's done; just leave those spaces out.

Has the strength of your build increased significantly after the addition of the PMF? It seems like it should- looks sturdy.

First, my sincere apologies to anyone following- to drop of the map without notice leaves an unfair question in the mind. The trailer has been used a number of times- and yet remains unfinished- (do others do this?) Life is good but very busy, as a wise man once said "work gets in the way of many things- like not working"

As for the PMF... I'm not sure what that is... The tear is sturdy enough for use- any more clarity needed on that?

PMF is Poor Man's Fiberglass, ie what you used to skin your tear. "Sturdy enough" is a great answer- that's what it comes down to after all.
