Jim,

Do you think a brake system would be required on a teardrop under 1000 pounds?

I was hoping to not have to deal with brakes on a trailer so small, but if I need to put that in my plans, I will.

Thanks,

Phil

Thanks. I think that will make a difference for me and I will leave the brakes off of my plans for now.

I am going to be paying a lot of attention to this build. I think this is how I want to build. Really, I would like to do an all aluminum build, but I am not sure that would really be that much of a weight savings and the cost would be a LOT more from the materials costs from what I am told. Well, that and I would have to get different wire and gas for my wire welder.

I wish we were closer together, as I would love to help you build it. I love building things and learning from people that have the experience. I hope you do a lot of posting about this project. I am also watching the emiller build as it develops.

Well, the snow is gone and the grass is growing, time to get back to building.
I have made some progress on the build. I am building from inside out. I have the floor, ceiling and inside wall paneling installed. I am now working on the cabinet framing. Pictures will follow in a few days, or when the rain stops.

Jim, that's an awfully nice looking tear. I like the slide out counter in the galley. I am looking forward to seeing this in person some day.

Hope to have it ready for Crawford. All the trim won't be done but it should be campable.

Looking forward to seeing it in person at Crawford. Don't worry, you're much further along than I was when we went to ITG in Minden last year. I only had one door, no galley, fenders or cabinets!

See ya soon
Brad
