Stop chasing for Plans you came to the right spot.
Real Simple will depend on your skill level. Tools and building skills are going to be nessasary for anything you build so real simple is just relative anyway.
There are plenty of plans on this site. At the top of this page there are at least a dozen different designs check Design library and Generic Benroy that you can either build as is or modify to fit what you want, you know personalize it to fit what you want from your TD, most have built that way. You can take any plan with some building experience of course and modify for your own needs.
Personally I had never even seen a TD up close before I decided I had to have one, so I researched and looked at what others built, looked at plans, photos and came up with my own trailer. They are not difficult to build. Just have fun.. :) :)

I really like the Grumman 2.
It's a stylish box at on wheels..... You can make it as simple as you want.
Any trailer is going to need sides, doors, and a roof. Just because its more curved than some other trailers, doesn't make it any harder to build.

Grumman plans.

Enjoy the journey.....

Dave.
