Looking good George.

What are the hubs from? I have the HF trailer and tried to find different wheels- way too much hassle for no return- ended up with the 12â€
For those who would like to have a look I have a build journal and covet your feedback.

Yes, I am using the ultralight profile, 4 foot wide. The axle and hubs are northern hydralics items. Ford/mopar 5x4 1/2 bolt pattern. I am buying the floor tomorrow. g

I fitted up some 15" wheels with 195/15 tires , they work perfectly. I was trying to use too large of a tire before. g

We screwed the floor on yesterday. I used construction adheseve on top of the frame, side rails and crossmembers. My boys and I set the floor on top ( 3/4 plywood) clamped in place and started drilling holes for the screws (self tapping). My boys did the counter sinking and final screwing. Next up, the walls. george

Looks good, but you passed the ultra light stage a long time ago!

And, more than likely, it won't matter. It will still be a great build.

Undercoating today. Man this stuff is like Molas...undercoating in January.
I started with a small brush, then I just dumped a pile of it and spread it out. Later I used a scrap piece of stainless to screed? it out, kinda like screen printing ink. then brush to even it out, worked great. The undercoat was free leftovers from a commercial trailer company. I took home a gallon when they cleaned out their 55 gallon drum spray rig. Next I will cut out steps to mount the walls to the floor.

Walls are on! What a pain. I used a table saw to cut my ledges into the bottom of my walls. A router would have been alot nicer. I had to use temporary braces to keep everything square. I am cutting my spars now. Fun. george

Looking good! :applause:

Keep after it and you'll have it campable before you know it! Maybe I'm missing something...what is the cutout in the streetside wall for?

Just a hole the salvage piece of plywood came with. I am just going to fill it somehow. g

Ah, I see. That's great that you could find some recycleable materials...I had plans of using more in my build, but ended up with mostly new.
