Well, we have been working on it off and on all week, and the result is the door are on, and life is good.

We also attached the vent cover for the fan that comes out the side.

So, the basics are in and on. Now we need to do some inside and Galley trim work, and add a few of the extra latches, etc. I also need to put the lights on the trailer.

Not done yet, but we are gewtting closer.

Looks superb with the aluminum and doors on. Where did you pick up the windows for the doors? I still need to get some.

Thank you everyone for your positive comments. I am very near finishing, and will get pictures of it posted soon. As far as the windows, I got them from Paul's trailer and RV in Grenleaf. http://www.ptrv.com
I paid $62.99 each.

It was a bit far away, and I have since discovered Prosser RV in Oak Creek. I would bet they have the windows also. They were very helpful when I ordered other items and very quick.

Final pictures will be coming any day!

Thank you everyone, for all your help, information and encouragement.

It's Done!

In the last week, we have done a number of final touches. As you can see, we put latches on the back, I put on the trailer lights(they all work), and I put a small bead of aluminum colored caulk on ALL the seams.

Image

I boiled the maple quarter round for the inside trim on Sat., and we put it in quickly(no time to take pics).

Image

We then had to deal with our overstock.com foam mattress which we have had for about a month.

I have had an old 2 inch ball on my truck for years, so it took a lot of work, and a few chemicals, to get the darn thing off so I could put on our 1 7/8th ball, but we did it.

Image

The galley is all done, with all the trim and the hatch painted to match the sky...

And the inside is wating for us to snuggle in and have a wonderful night's sleep.

Image

The curtains still need to be sewn, but we are very happy with the whole thing. A BIG thank you for all the information and support of the forum!
We could not have made it half as nice without you. And,of course, a thank you to sister Debbi and Brother in law John.....

All done in 3 months, and now we need to go camping!

It's done and I'll bet you two had a lot of fun working together to do it. This is something you'll remember with pride and fond memories for the rest of your lives. Good job.

Now, it's time for that maiden voyage and :pictures: for all of us to drool over! :vroom:

Galley is great, "skylight" hatch is genius.

The interior bedding is beautifull.

Nicola is going for a green retro feel duvet cover, which will be nice, but I do like the more traditional looking interiors.

Sure you will have years of fun with it.
Greetings from England.

Rian.

Hoping to get it all done in time.
