We got our first TD finished now we are ready to start on the real one. Built a mockup out of cardboard to help visualize it all. Used the ULTRALIGHT profile for a starting point (tire/wheel by Rubbermaid ).Axle kit arrived this AM and picked up tube steel today.

Got the frame finished and floor mounted to it. Overhang in front will be trimmed to match bottom of sides. Sides are going to cover frame. Brown stuff showing thru white stuff means I will have to get back to REAL job ( after brown stuff gets dry) Image [/img]

The two little girls wanted to interrupt our walk to check to the progress of the TD. First we had to have a safety meeting. Image
Got the sides cut out and temporarly clamped to frame to calculate where to cut the floor for the front.
Freida wants her own door about here so she can get to the snacks. I don't theenk so little doggie!

Anyhoo, here is the headliner installed. Kinda crowded with all the braces in there. Don't want to toss and turn in my sleep!

You're doing a nice, neat job on that teardrop and moving right along! Adding the pictures of the two dogs (and you) is a real plus, too! Love the name, Freida Frankfurter. Living in Wyoming, I'll bet that shop heater gets used a lot. :applause:
