Another Rainbassador mod...

Postby rainjer » Sat May 08, 2010 3:57 pm

I decided to build a side table for my trailer. It is done except the edge metal. I had to order it & it is not in yet.

My biggest issue was where to store it during transport and foul weather. This was my solution. I was going to put a door in this opening anyway so I made the table into the door. It will have a nylon strap towards the bottom to keep it in place. It is hanging from a piece of the table track.

Neat.

I want to add clever bits like that to mine as well, once it is campable.
Greetings from England.

Rian.

Hoping to get it all done in time.

Well I finally finished my side table project. I picked up the metal trim today and installed it. I also got the strap to hold it in place installed today.

OK, what did you use and how did you wrap the table in metal?

It is just formica on plywood. I used 1/2" counter top metal on the edges.

Saw the decal.

Crater Lake is the most beautiful color blue I have ever seen. Exploded then fell back in on itself. Must've been a helluva day.
