I;d need a house first...

Maybe i could start my house from the 2" foam sheet...

Today I bought :
3x 120VAC Plugs assy. 10$
2x Glue Tube King Size 21$
1x PVC 3/4"x10' pipe 4$
1x 4'x8'x1½" Blue Foam 28$
1x 4'x8'x½" Plywood 24$
1x Hole Saw 1" Kit 20$
Total : 107$

Me sweating like a wet towel... That day was SOOOO hot....
Makes me think of installing a AC inside of it... I found some cheap 6000btu 120V 5.3A at local store under 100$. I'ts supposed to cover 150sq/ft. So, it should not be a prob for only 45 sq/ft
Just need to think where I could insert it....

I'll be sufficient with the electricity....
I already have a 1800W industrial inverter, ANL Fuse and Holder, a 25A charger and a Blue Sea Fuseblock.
A Group 31 Battery (DC31-280 Big Red) is also on the way.
At work, I can buy any marine wiring/switch/accessories at their cost. (Finaly a good news.... )

The cabin is on a dolly. the real trailer should be 1ft higher.
As you could see previously, I'm very limited in working space...

Yet, I did not encounter any major issue while building.... but it's not done yet.... :worship:

Today I Bought :
2x Richelieu Hinges 12$ (2 Pairs)
2x Door Handle 6$

Total : 18$
Grand Total Yet : 1474$

My first try doing a Cabinet door...
Everything went well... ;)

Image
With a Saw Table, I made 2 track side to side.
I removed some imperfections within the track with a Wood Knife.

The saw blade is 1/8" wide and my spruce plywood (from leftovers) is 1/4" Thick.

Image
Glued the whole thing together.

Image
Varnishing....

Image
Started the Main Panel...

Image
I only cutted a space for one of the switches... It's not as good as I expected...
The Pine chipped around the switch hole. I guess a Black Plactic or Fiber Plate would be a better idea....
Will think about it next week-end...

Image
Global View with semi finished Main Panel...
Also, I installed temporarely the Front Speaker Panels to see what it looks like.
Needs 2-3 more coating and the plate stated above...

On this Panel, I'll have :
1x Radio
1x Aux Input 2 (RCA Stereo Input)
6x Switch (Int/Ext Light, Radio, Inverter)
2x 12V 15A Outlet
1x 120V

Image
The Hinges... :D

15 posts per page...almost there ;)

Build is looking good. You can break up the pics into 2 or 3 posts to spread it a bit. But pics are good

I was beginning to wonder about that, too. :dancing

I like your build so far! You have the perfect tow vehicle for the Command Post, that's for sure.

You had commented,

That day was SOOOO hot....
Makes me think of installing a AC inside of it... I found some cheap 6000btu 120V 5.3A at local store under 100$. I'ts supposed to cover 150sq/ft. So, it should not be a prob for only 45 sq/ft

Are these two different thoughts? Or are you thinking about trying to run an AC unit through an inverter? A Group 31 is a big battery, yes, (+/- 70-something pounds) but it won't run an AC unit for very long.

:scratchthinking:

Forgive me for assuming anything... :R

The best of luck to you on the rest of your teardrop build!
