Walls are up!

Postby MUhunters » Wed Jun 23, 2010 7:32 am

We have our first wall up with the second one to follow. You will notice notched 2x4's at each end. We are placing bunks at each end. When hunting the upper bunk will hold the gear. When just camping, wives and small kids fit nicely in all four beds.

The second wall is up. Lots of screwing and gluing. Time to set before we move to the roof.

Makes me smile to see young helpers.... mine would rather be on the Xbox.
Greetings from England.

Rian.

Hoping to get it all done in time.

Bunks

Postby MUhunters » Tue Jul 06, 2010 8:59 pm

Father & Son: Dad is sitting on a bench over the wheel well. We have a small table that will fit comfortably between the two wheel well benches. We have also extended them down to the lower bunks providing needed storage. This makes the wives happy that we get some of our hunting and camping stuff out of the house. Image

Doorway and Window

Doorway and window. The next few weeks will be tough with interior and the Midwest heat and humidity.
