Build Journal

Postby es009d7705 » Thu Sep 23, 2010 4:06 pm

Hi there, Evan[es009d7705] here from Scotland. Not being very skilled on the pc I was wondering how I get my build pictures from my album onto the Build Journal thread? I have completed my build and named my Tear "Rover" after the big balls that used to chase Patrick McGoohan about in the 60s Program the prisoner. I have also had it out on its first run up to Glencoe for a few days with my Grandsons and am planning on taking it away this weekend. I also hope to get some more pics as well, thank you Evan.

Pics can be confusing at first. There is a tutorial http://www.mikenchell.com/pichelp.html

Basically, go to your album and click on one of the pictures. It will then display in a browser window.

Copy the url in the navigation window.

Now, in your post, when you get to where you want that picture to display, click on the IMG button above the text box, paste the url you copied, click on the IMG button again.

Then proceed with the rest of your life.

Evan,

Your teardrop looks fantastic. I really like the double windows!

The picture thing throws everyone a loop at first. You may want to start with the manual way first. Type "". It looks like the following except I added a space after .

Again, nice job on your teardrop!

Hi Evan here, I would like to thank you for your tips and sorry I didnt reply sooner. I will try and follow your instructions and see how I do though this wont be for another 2 weeks as My wife and I are of to Mallorca . In answer to Graemes Question my next trip was Sept weekend and myself and the boys just went back up to the Red squirrel in Glencoe and had a lovely weekend weatherwise. We like th site as you can light open fires, the staff are friendly and they even supply free fire wood. Apparently there was another Tear there a couple of weeks ago. Bye for the moment and thanks again, Evan.
