I'm short, my wife is short, and no doubt my kids will be short, but I may add a few more inches since it's not a big deal anyways. I'm just thinking the less volume, the easier it's going to be to heat.
and I started the slideout. Feb. is fast approaching and I have to have this thing at least sleepable. Hopefully I can get the skins cut this week. I did lengthen the slideout so it should be able to sleep someone over 6' 4" without issues.
Didn't have the slideout, water, heater, power, or permanent back doors complete, as well as a host of other cosmetic things, but I was warm for 4 days and had hard walls to keep the noise, dust, and wind out.
Here's camp
A few pics from on top our 18 wheeler I was camped behind
I've got a 4" X 6" Copper core radiator that hot water will flow through from a boiler outside the trailer enclosure
I can put a 140 mm fan with a max output of 60 CFM or 2 smaller 70 mm fans to blow through into the cabin. Using this sort of heat exchange system with the propane boiler outside the trailer should prevent any chance of my accidental death.

I asked myself the same question. I looked into building a boiler, but it seems a boiler is more than I need as I don't need to make steam, I just need hot water, which is good b/c it would be nice for camping anyways.
I'm not sure if 100º is hot enough for my needs. We tested this in the garage, but I didn't get an accurate feel for how hot the water was getting off of a white gas stove at the time.
If anyone has any experiences with these heaters please post up.
Also what are you guys doing for power for all your TV's and gadgets? I don't need a TV or anything, but there are a few 12V items I will need to power such as a water pump and lights. I can run them off the truck power, but I'd hate to drain the battery overnight with a radio on or something.
