start of our build journal

so far we have the 10 foot trailer (needs sand blasting, and primed and painted yet) still trying to decide if we are going to make it longer 12 foot or not. added a new hitch on it, have some of the lumber, should have more than enough blue foam for insulation, luan that will be stained for the inside, lights, vent for roof, 3 of the 4 windows that I want, propane stove and grill, refrigerator, a/c, heater, curtains, sheets, Name of trailer "Duck-Inn". it is going to to be a little bit of benroy, a bit of the rimple and some of what we like, have our fingers crossed that we can get all we want in it where we want it at. just need to get donals's back where he can do the building part :hammer:

Hey Donald & Daisy,

- Won't you just "duck in" to it at night ? -

what will it look like?

Postby donald & daisy duck » Wed Nov 17, 2010 12:46 pm

ok now my head is starting to spin...we just saw up close a standie now think that might be the best way for us to go. DD (donald duck) started making saw dust and metal shavings monday... he thinks he will cut off the tounge and add 4 ft to the front, extend the tounge, and build the taller camper :hammerhead: and put in a drop floor.

frame

Postby donald & daisy duck » Tue Nov 23, 2010 2:49 am

the frame that he is going to use is from a camper he had built back in 1978,so it has a title on it already.we stay up late at nite talking about how we want to do this part of the td or where we want to put that, then next time we change our mind, lol :o  but it is so much fun to work on something tgether. :D
