will make new cooler box
old one is absorption cooler 3way (12, 230, gas) works well but i like more
so

new cooler heart will be compressor unit Waeco cu-55 and evaporator vd-07

I always wanted to try this approach but never did. Please post lots of pictures and let us know how well it performs.

i will make lot of pics and perform chart
i´m more pics then talk/write

but box is planned use inside and outside Aluminium composite panel 0,12 inch
and between insulation styrofoam 1,3 or 1,6 inch

last summer trip from Estonia through Latvia - Lithuania - Poland to Czech
and one shock absorber attachment broke down
i had to remove shock in Lithuania after 600 km from start and i drove without it ~4000 km

Your compressor fridge will use less power if you give the condenser unit plenty of air. Here's a thread you might like on the big RV site regarding condenser ventilation:

inside condenser there is ventilator (original)
it will cool compressor and condenser

and in cooler box compartment down i have fresh air intake and up - heated air suction.

and this ventilation tubing is connected with this fan

dismantled all down again (cooler box)
and made some cuts and ...
used furniture corner profile (aluminium) and build it up again

first dry fit with insulation
insulation is 1,2 inch SPU insulation
planning attach insulation with double sided tape and fill joints with foam
cover later with same composite panel like outside
