New build discovered...update 7/31

Postby Red Green » Sat Jun 04, 2011 8:39 pm

Took off from the possum lodge this morning and went down to get a new brush and a gallon of latex to paint the Possum Van, mis-mixed paint is a great find! Found someone that has a new build going. It's going to be a clone of a 1958 Scotty Junior. Scotties version of a teardrop. I snuk this picture when he went in the house....SHHHHHHH. Red

I finally got out of jail, it seems that the local constable didn't like how I modified the Possum Lodge van and said it was a road hazard. Those guys shouldn't have been following so close.

I was able to check the progress on this "under the radar build". This guy is doing a lot of recycled stuff, axle, jacks, windows, refer door, laminate, and was up here at the Possum Lodge to scrounge a bit this weekend.

His plan is to do an aluminum side with a rolled rib in it. It's a single door, like the originals were, and a fairly short hatch on it. It'll be a well done, but not a high dollar build. He doesn't know I took some pics. Shhhhh RedGreen

He's making some good progress, Red. The ice chest(?) in the counter top looks like a nice idea. Thanks for sharing! :applause:
