Whats in a name?

Postby PhotoGuy » Sun Jun 19, 2011 9:52 pm

Ok guys.. girls.. Here I go. I'm about to make some sawdust next weekend. I don't have my frame yet. So I think I am going to build one to fit what I need and the way I want it.

So can you guys help me pick a name for my tear. I will be using it on solo photography trips off the grid, It will be build to handle off road towing, run off of solar and wind, It will be painted red to match my truck. I am planning to use recycled " stuff " as much as I can. Buying new only when I cant fined used. Its not that i can't afford to build with all new parts... I want to see how little I can really spend on this build.

If someone comes up with a name I really like and use for my build. I will send them a 11x14 print ( photo ) of there choice :)

Thanks..

I'm sure that when you start the "actual" build, certain names will pop up!

Hi PhotoGuy,

Names?

Here's a few:

DarkRoom-A-Go-Go

ShutterFly

EnCamera, En Camera

InnCamera, Inn Camera, In Camera

Inn Camera Obscura - especially if you could make the TD body an
actual functioning Camera Obscura - if only for
novelty's sake.

Photos-On-The Roll

Light Freezer, Light Freezer Inn

Dream Keeper

Beauty Arrestor, Beauty Arrester

Cheers,
Norm/mezmo

Ansel.. Now there is a good idea. He is one of the all time best landscape shooters.. Good idea. That one made the short list.

" Dream Keeper" has also made the short list... Since a life in nature photography has been a dream of mine for years.
