Hey Bob.... Let 'em build their own. Save your time and effort and go camping.... I've had many people ask me the same thing, and I always answer "Nothing personal, but I don't want to spend my retirement building a trailer for you, when I can be out camping".....

Thanks Sharon. I still have a ways to go before it's completely built. We loved Fort Mountain so much that we are going back there next week instead of trying a different campground.

Hiya Dave. It's great getting out camping, but I'll never get her finished that way. Dave, she tows like a dream. You can't even tell she's back there. My tow vehicle is a 96 Ford Explorer with a V-8 so there isn't much that will slow it down, but really, I have to check the rear view mirror to make sure she's still back there. The cabin is better than we could have hoped for. I ended up using a full size mattress. I was worried that might not be big enough, but it turns out I was wrong. We have plenty of room. The TV is at a perfect viewing level. It's like being at a theater you can lay down at. Cozy is the word I used earlier to describe it. I didn't mean that in a derogitory way. Our first night in it it rained pretty hard and the sound of the rain was like a lullaby. The Fantastice fan was set on low and it was just enough breeze without pulling any rain inside to keep it very comfortable. I didn't put AC in the Tintanic and Reggie was a little leary about that. So far she has had to turn the fan off every night because she got cold. Yaaaaaaaaa.
There is a ton of storage in the cabin as well. I am really surprised at the amount of room. We put a bunch of junk in the cabinets and still had gobs of room. We had one cabinet filled with canned goods because I hadn't gotten the galley cabs installed yet, clothes, DVDs, flashlights, towels, shoes and still had room. Dave, you won't believe it until you get the Travelear outfitted and ready to go. You are going to be surprised.
And that brings me to this weeks work.

I got the face frame finished and put it in place to see how it would work out.
Then I built the pantry and filled it up with cans to see how much it would hold.
It holds more than I thought it would.
Then I fitted the drawers in place to check my sizing and measurements.
Drawer guides installed, drawers in place.
I can't get over how much these things will hold.
Now I just need to make the drawer fronts and install them, but if I don't get them done, she's still campable. We're leaving for Fort Mountain on Tuesday for 4 or 5 days.

Voyage is plural because we went camping three weeks in a row. Our first trip was to John Tanners Park. It is close to home, so we decided to go there first in case we had any problems.
