The both look great! Did either of you install insulation?

I have an experiment for you and your friend to try, which will work great since you have identical tears, with entirely opposite roof colors.

Stick a couple thermometers inside your tears one day when you are camping together. I'm very curious to see how much difference the inside temperature is due to the roof colors. One would think that your white roof teardrop would be slightly cooler, but I'm still curious.

Thanks for the pics!

Both trailers are insulated at the roof and floor. The difference is that my trailer has a white roof 3/4" walls and has a galley in the back. Mark's trailer had a black roof 1/2" walls and his galley is accessible from the cabin. Well have to test the temps while camping. I'll post the results also I am working on adding a ducted air conditioner this winter. I originally built this to be able to camp during the hot Texas summers.

The build took 9 months of casual weekend work. But I also work in the air conditioning industry in Texas so for 2 1/2 months I did not work on it. Also I had a second set of hands from my friend Mark who I gave a set of hands for on his build. We built both at the same time. It was pretty easy if you think three times measure twice and cut once ( it's also easier on your wallet ). I love it set up camp in the dark I about 5 minutes and tore down camp in ten minutes. Waking up Sunday to go home feels like a Saturday morning cause it's so easy to get out on the road!
