Theresa's 4 x 8 Ginger Gypsy Build

...ask your questions in the appropriate forums BUT document your build here...preferably in a single thread...dates for updates, are appreciated....

Just a point to ponder......Kind of hard to follow your build when the pictures are deleted after only a few weeks. I just found your build thread and all the pictures say they have been moved or deleted. Maybe posting them in your album will make them stay longer.

Where did your pictures go? I am sure they were there the other day.

Theresa, inspecting the elements of the post that still has pictures, I can see that you are still using photobucket; so, I don't know what happened.
I hope you can fix it as it is sad to see your build thread looking so bare. You will find that you will want to refer back to your build thread after you have completed your trailer, if for nothing else but nostalgia.

When you have questions, it is best to post them in the appropriate area, not in your build thread. This is because there are people who are more learned who frequent their favorite sections, which may not be the build section. For instance, your questions on your battery should probably be posted in the electrical section, in its own thread. You'll get your questions answered much quicker that way.

Well phooey, what the heck happened to the pictures? I will have to figure that out.

And also move hubby's question to another thread if he really needs me to - I think he was expecting one of our chapter buds to see it here...

Crap I know what happened in photobucket, dammit. I organized the pics into albums and that messed up the link. <sigh>. I will get that fixed...

ALL PICS ARE FIXED NOW! Just fixed the link for them. Note to self, don't move any more photos around on photobucket, at least none that are about my camper build.....

Hi there!! We are at a standstill until it warms up, unfortunately. Our garage isn't heated and the cold has just been too brutal! I have been working on other stuff for it. Made a quilt, sham, gathering equipment, utensils, vintage camping equipment to use with it.

Y'all stay warm!

Hi: Do you have a specific plan or are you building from experience? I like the size and shape of your unit. Mike

Hi, Mike! Thanks for stopping by our thread! The short answer would be "a little of both." I drew the profile out on graph paper in the beginning, with a square back end because I wanted barn-style doors. My husband then did a more detailed design in autoCAD. Unfortunately, his old laptop finally died and we lost the design except for this picture:

Cool stuff Theresa, You have made progress. Now put on a snow mobile suit and get out there and finish the trailer! I could be cold till July!

PS. Don't paint the cooler, to neat as it is. How about a brightly colored cooler cover? Same funky look and it saves your ice. :)
