Good job Theresa! You and Chuck or Chuck and you did a fine job on the trailer. I was happy not to see a stove in the galley. But I must say you are the only married couple I know who sleep in separate teardrops on the same site because they want to. Now that the first trip is over you can relax, you are a veteran now. :applause:

PS. Good job keeping it between the lines!

Thanks, Sharon and Steve! Steve, lol.... no fire of any kind in the galley, ever again! Funny thing is I plan to bring it to TBTR for everyone to see, and thst is mine and Chucks 10th anniversary!

Tony, haven't weighed it yet. I really hope to do that this week. Our best guess is that it is maybe around 750 lbs....

A few more pics, some small details, like painting the door jamb and the galley doors....

And here is the frame for my changing room. It will attach to the side of the trailer. More pics of that later....

New jack. Had to have a piece of metal cut to bolt onto frame for it to attach to. Just need a wheel for it now instead of the foot.....

Theresa
I live in Cedar Rapids and am contemplating a tear drop build. Where do you live in Jackson county? Is it possible to stop by and take a look at both of your tear drops to get some further incentives to get started? I would love to look at the trailers and help me determine the actual size that I want to construct. It would be a great help to me if we could see in person what the actual trailers look like and feel like on the inside.
thanks

Hi there Gene and Marjorie! Would love to meet you and show off our campers. Chuck and I did the same thing at a Little Guy dealership in Rockford before he started designing our first one! What is your schedule like in the evenings this week? We leave Saturday for a week in the U.P., so would have to be this week or after 8/4....

I was just curious if you had a price list on this camper, looks very nice and you did a great writeup on the process involved in building.

Guitarman, don't really have a price list, but we have spent about $3000 total on this one. My budget was $2500 and I kinda blew past that with the graphic design and vinyl graphics and application.

And thanks for the compliments! :-)

Conn.rod, the trim is standard insert trim we bought from Frank Bear. If you are very careful and slow, it will bend around a fairly tight radius....
