Trailer was sitting in the drive and I just had to see how the lights looked. POW lit the driveway up. Spent a few hours on the cabinet fronts today between rain showers. Looking good. Now if i can just get the formica to co operate.

It took a bit of head scratching to figure out where to shorten it without changing the contours or causing a bunch of bondo work, I found the sweet spot.

Several years ago I rebuilt a fiberglass boat that i picked up for 25.00 at a junk shop. I bought the Metallic paint for that build and forgot I had it until i was doing a clean up of my garage and stumbled on it.

I do believe that there is a pattern in life- providence if you will. It seems when I get to a stand still, something always bails me out and keeps me moving forward. Red paint for the trailer ( as I had planned) was going to set me back 235.00 and a bunch of extra work.

gunmetal/charcoal is one of my favorite colors. your build had turned out great. the black trim would look great. maybe even the trailer in black. red pin stripe??

We have had several down pours in the past week. I did a check of all windows, doors, penetrations and roof seal. No water anywhere inside the Rerun. Yay! I have the interior done and the bed installed. I have the back door all wired and the weather seal in place. Putting the finishing touches on the drop down stove counter. Slept in this the other night and was surprised how quiet it was even with the street traffic 40 ft away doing 55 + mph. I think it is a success.

If there is interest , I will show how I shortened the conversion van top. Very easy to do if you put a little forethought into it. Right now I am scrambling to get my other projects done before the weather goes south. 123301 what I am working on 123303 What i hope it will look like when I am done
