I made me a tablerouter last week, so i could make some trimpieces (isn't moulding the right word?)

Image
Cut them to size in my small homebuild miterbox

Image
And with some CPES it should make a waterproof box of the top shelf. So if the hinge leaks, it's not going anywhere.

Image
As of today, im working on the hatch! got the mockup beam fitted, needs a little trimming here and there to fit the spars, but all in all, im happy with it. I just got a bit of a scare when i noticed the size when opened :D On top are the interior trimpieces, i ran out of spraylaquer, and im not paying 3x the price to get them today, so it has to wait till ive got some time this week to drive to my regular shop (Action, some sort of dollar store i think)

Your wish is my command!

First i made a template out of a piece of MDF left over from my side template. (sawing, sanding, adding pieces, more sanding)
Then i took a 4x8 board of 3/4" plywood, cut it to workable sizes, ripped the sqare pieces, and i copied the template a few times on the leftover board.
Image

Roughly saw them out,
Image

remount the template, and run them on the routertable, fitted with a flush trim bit.
Image

And voilla, multiplication!
Image

And this should make a hatch.
Image

first a fitting,
Image

then rebuilding with glue.
Image

And it fits!
Image

I still need to add a few more pieces between the ribs, but my back was killing me, and i decided to postpone that to later this week.

Very busy lately, so not much progress, but this weekend i had some time to cross some things off my list.

Wired the reading lights, added a dimmer and a few buttons, connected the fan wires, trew in a USB charger, connected the cabinetlight. Anyway, eureka!

I love your build and downloaded the PDF profile you had in an earlier post.

Do you have the radius dimensions you used?

How did you mount your walls? I don't see an inside cleat. Pocket screws from the interior framing, from underneath?

I'm sorry Steve, i dont have those dimensions, i just drew lines till i liked them, there's no calculated method to them. Only the top of the doors are perfectly round.

From underneath, i drilled holes an countersunk them, coated them with CPES and screwed straight trough the floor.

Small update, finished the electrics.

Image
The cabinet where all the mains comes in, gets distributed and converted to 12V.

Image
All the wires are routed behind the wooden trim.

Image
Trough a channel in the insulation,

Image
and end up in the headboard. Note the lights turned down low.

Image
The hatch is getting a CPES treatment aswel.

Image
And my homemade sink fits! Its just a 1/2 size gastronorm tub with a drain added.

Summer's around the corner, i'm getting antsy to go camping!

Lets start with an image of the kitchen, as it looks almost finished.
Image
Well, finished, campable is more accurate, as im moving more and more things from my "todo" list to my next year list!

The mains is in the works,
Image
All it needs is a breaker and an external connector, and making everything untouchable.

ImageImage
Four wall sockets in the interior,

Image
and a connectionbox for the fridge.

This morning i went to the local camping store, and picked up the hardware for the waterworks, drilled a hole trough the floor for the waste water,
Image
Connected my newly aquired tap, and it works,

Image
Its just a closed sytem for the moment, just to test for leaks, and ive found none, im a bit shocked!

I've received a shipment of aluminium T and L profiles, yay!
Image

ImageImage
Softenend parts of it. The flame changes from blue to yellow when at the right temperature.

Image
It fits! not perfect, it needs some convincing with a hammer later on, but all in all, im happy with it.
The hatch didn't fit too well anymore, it was a bit too snug to open smooth, so i had to narrow it a little ( 6mm, about 1/4"). It wasn't too bad to take apart, exept for the glue, epoxy, and screws i epoxied over. (heating up a screwdriver did work quite well to get the epoxy out of the heads, and loosen the screws.)

Image
Anyway, the doors. a template,

Image
sawing and copying .

Image
Glueing the liner on.

Image
Wiley Window on the bench.

Image
Both windows mounted.

Image
And pic of the entire door.
