Thanks.
I think I'll have to add some strength to the vertical stress points as you recommended.
My friend is sort of doing me a favor. I'm actually bartering services with him. I'm just paying for materials at this point.
I hope he doesn't mind making adjustments to the trailer.

I'm going to take Fred's advice and get a support beam installed. But first, I need to get it registered and tagged and move it out of this yard. So, I flipped the floor and bolted it to the frame. Once I get it tagged, I can move it closer to home and this will give me a chance to work on it on the weekends.

Finally got Lil Nugget to a closer storage area where I can complete the build.

Decided on revamping the tongue design since there is simply too much sway in the frame as it is.
Talked to another friend who owns an auto shop. He said it was OK to go ahead and do my build and he will fix the tongue at a later date when the build is almost complete.

The sad thing is that my other friend who built it was going off of the design that was sent to me on the template. I'll have to contact the guy who sent me the plans to say his design to see what we did wrong.

Installed insulation to decking. Then topped off with a 1/2 inch plywood floor.
Also removed fenders. Will reinstall once walls and trim are up, and new tires are purchased and installed.

Used Kreg jig to attach sides to floor. Each screw is 6 inches apart.
I may want to add a block to provide additional support, since the Kreg screws really don't go in too far.

Re: Lil' Nugget build

Took the jigsaw to the interior 1/4 inch birch to cut out the door.
I glued the 1/4 inch to the 3/4 and had to use some large head screws to tighten down the laminate.
I might keep the screws there when finished. If I don't, I'll have to fill with some wood putty and sand before finishing.
I also installed a few more spars, and sized out the opening for the Fantastic Fan.
At this point, I'm not sure what to do next...whether to start building the galley, or install the inner skin.
I'm having a tough time finding the right panels for the inside. if I go with an 1/8th inch, the cost is $63+ per panel, special order. Where the 1/4 inch is half that, and readily available through the big box stores and local lumber yards.
I'm just not sure how to bend the paneling, or if I want to go with a bead board interior. With the bead board, I really don't know what to buy. All I see are small pieces, approx. 4-6 inches in width. The prefinished paneling looks cheap and I don't like the look. Other bead board material looks to be too thick to bend. I'm at a loss here, until I get more funds for my next material purchase.

Just a reminder that there is a ton of valuable information here on the Forum if you are open to accepting it.
I hope your current research helps you solve your next problem , before it becomes a redo.

My router slipped when I tried to even out the edges.
As a painting contractor, I am used to fixing things like this. But on a moving object, I hope my repair holds up.
I plan on drilling a cavity hole in two different directions, then filling it with either epoxy or wood repair. Then I'll sand it out.
Just another unexpected mini project.

Door opening cut in the veneer.

Now, the bending of the 1/4 inch birch plywood begins.
I wet it with a solution of ammonia and water, hoping the ammonia will help break down the glue and the cellulose that holds the wood fibers together so there won't be as much tension on the outside of the bend.

Part of the shaping process is the back pressure. I've never done this, and I hope after 2 days of drying it will conform.
