This one is easier to navigate, but needs updated:

www.astroliner.blogspot.com

What specifically do you want to know about the tanks?

How big or small are they? My camper lies low and is small.

We have a 40 gal Grey Water tank, a 40 gal Black Water tank and a 30 gal Fresh Water tank. With the exception of the Fresh, the tanks were fabricated into the frame during the very early stages of the build.

One of the things about finishing a build (is it ever really finished?) is there is no longer build progress to report! Therefore, I'll resort to posting random pictures of recent trips.

The cat, always trying to go camping

Stopping in town for a quick break

Finally, a good shot of the artwork on the Dinette table

The metal art on the wall that I made while going through Chemo will always have special meaning

Our campsite at General Butler State Park, KY.

Happy Camping!

Getting to see the old Gang as they went through the Parade

Hanging out in the pits with my team and old friends

Great pictures and story Michael, thanks for sharing. It feels like you have to fly those boats close to the water, not drive really, right? Those guys are not drivers, they more like bold pilots to me.

The top half of the boat is Aerodynamic. The bottom of the boat is Hydrodynamic. The less of the boat in the water the less friction and drag. So we build them to pack air underneath. Think "skipping stone..."

By the way, I'm not sure how far you are from Valley Field Quebec, but the best boat race in the world is held there.

It's always the second weekend in July. I really want to pull my camper up there sometime!

It is only 7 hours from my place, so it is doable for a weekend camping then, especially with the lightweight camper we will soon have.
