Like KC, I stopped setting deadlines: it'll be done when it's done. Everyone wants to see Kermit in all his glory but if it feels like work, what's the point ?

Just keep on truckin'

 You could tease us and tell us that if we want to see Kermit this year, we'll have to come to your Farm gathering in BC. Eh! Eh!

Well.........are you coming?
At the rate I am progressing (even with the huge amount of time I am putting in)....you might have to come to the Farm to see Kermit for the first time.
I assure you, that it will be worth it! And if you are coming that far, you might plan to stay longer and see more.
We would love to have you!

Even though I know what you are saying is true! :NC
I am still tying.
And yes! it is feeling like work  But, so did Miss Piggy the last year. :(
But, the last three years of rewards, were way beyond our wildest expectations!
We can't wait for you to join in the "Camping" part of the Teardrop World.

Progress has been steady! And yes, I have been taking picture.......you will get them in a lump again soon.
Welding, welding, welding, has been the theme of the past couple of weeks.
First sub floor piece went in yesterday. Which means I am getting confident the end is coming.
Unlike conventional built Teardrops, where you start with a floor and work up; when you build from cars, it is best to leave the floos out until the very end. That way you don't have to crawl around on your hands and knees to work inside.
The under floor(belly of the beast) will be the last panel to be welded on, and the trailer will be on a rotisserie for this operation.
With the underside being body worked, rock guarded and painted during this same phase before coming off of the rotisserie.
Galley is coming along.....but much slower than I had anticipated.
My hopes for an April completion date are looking to be in serious jeopardy!
But, like eating an elephant.....I am just taking it one bite at a time.

Thanks Michael
I know I am not one that should preach, and I know the new house has probably become a priority.
But,..........you must multi task and continue to work towards finishing the trailer project, that was once the # 1 priority.
The new house should just make it easier.

Well Brian, right now I've got two bedrooms gutted and kids sleeping on mattresses in the middle of the living room floor. Once I get the bedrooms completed I can get back on the camper. I just have to get some sense of normal here for my Family. Then I can get back to my toys. ;)

It has been a while since I reported in here.
Still welding, welding, welding! Jumping around a little too, just to keep from getting bored with welding.
So, putting the cart before the horse a little, we have been trying to dial in the paint colors. :? Always the toughest part. :NC
Especially when mixing greens (and we will have three on the outside)
Wheels are already powder coated dark green, and we have picked out the dark green for the upper color, so the last decision is on the light green for the middle section??
Bought a sample pint which I will spray on the interior window moldings to see if we like it.
Paint is so expensive these days, you have to get it right the first time. Paid $503.00/gal. for just the "hardner" the other day...... and I am buying wholesale.
Most people have no idea what it costs in materials to paint a car these days!
Progress is still being made (slow but steady), but we have definitely missed our completion date goal.

I think I speak for everyone when I say we'd rather see it done right than on time.

I can say for myself, and I'm sure others will agree, that I am inspired by your build no matter how long it takes. And I definitely understand the concept of sticker shock, I trying to figure out a way to tool up for my build, and those things start to add up. But your prices on hardener really got me thinking about things.
