Yes, those reveals would be hard to keep, and keep it looking natural.
The bottom of the 38 Plymouth portion has yet to be trimmed off, to make way for the 1949 International KB1 truck back and roof that will complete the lower front portion.
Thanks for watching! Updates will continue as work gets done.......but car is still outside.

Although my plan is to do at least one thing on Kermit (however small it may be?) each and every day!
I am having a hard time getting motivated today  As it is -14 Celsius outside AND Kermit is not in the shop yet, AND there are a couple of great football games on the TV, AND the fireplace is going, AND my daughter just showed up and dropped of a huge bag of theatre popcorn, AND.......well you know how it goes???
Need someone to motivate me, or guilt me into getting out there. IT won't be done by end of April if I don't get at it??
Oh, did I mention I am still not dressed for the day yet and have the laptop on the couch!

My wife said you could justify it if you can work out part of the process, or order something on line. Design and planning is all part of the build process.
She has a lot of planning sessions when we are travelling. Only problem with that is when I can't hear the bubble of the V6 Capri twin exhaust, over the snoring.
oops she just made an inappropriate gesture. :o

Thanks Frank
I have been trying to find something else I might need to buy on ebay for most of the day and drawing
up my Galley.
Spent some time looking at my own Album here on the Forum, as it was warmer than going out to the Barn to check out Miss Piggy's layout for comparison (I have a list of comparison measurements scattered all over the coffee table in front of me) :?

Had a bit of a slow week on Kermit......but am still trying to do one small thing "Every" day. :worship:
Did drop off the trunk lid (Galley Hatch) and the fender pods (to be made into fender skirts) to the sandblasters on Thursday.
Not much happened yesterday as it snowed again (and it was Beer Friday  ) But I did manage to make a small hole in my shop for the weekend, so Kermit got the snow brushed off and saw the inside of a building for the first time (first time in many years I am sure??)So there are big plans for today and tomorrow...........if I can resist watching Football! and get off the Forum????

Managed 4 hours out in the shop yesterday.......but did not accomplish anywhere near what I wanted to!
And today? Football is just too tempting ( I have no willpower   )
There is still a glimmer of hope...... if I can just get off the couch and get out there?

Hmmm...a race to the finish maybe ?
Set a date for its first trip ?
You're the chapter director - you need to be setting an example for the rest of us. That means a stick-to-it attitude, charging forward with a devil-may-care bravado and wading in where others fear to tread. No time for couches and gridirons when there is steel to work !
When spring rolls around I'm going to want to take mine on the road - I'll expect to see some progress....now, where's that poke-with-a-stick smiley ?.....
Any of that doing it for ya ?

I hear you mate it's rained for days.
I have to finish a deck for a client for a party Saturday night and I've just got up and it's still raining.
Couldn't work on the job or TD this weekend so I ended up just buying heaps of parts on ebay.
Not realy making progress but I can kid myself it is.

I have a date! :NC
We hope to take Kermit to the Dam Gathering???? :worship:
Car Guys call it "Bench Racing"......well that is sort of how I spent my day.
Went out to the shop for most of the day.....but spent my time measuring, drafting, recording new ideas,
making notes, visualizing, dreaming, and generally envisioning how I want everything to work!
All in all, a whole lot of nothing really got accomplished except getting things out of my head and onto paper.
Hope to have a productive week, now that have a bit of a blueprint???

Not to be an enabler, but that is all part of the creative process. You have to go through this to get to that. If you hadn't spent the time getting your thoughts together and hatching a better plan, you either wouldn't make it to the next step, or you would shoot down a blind alley only to realize you have made a mistake somewhere that needs undoing.

You can't rush greatness.

To tru kc, I'm building a deck for a guy and he's like I don't want to be paying you to go to the hardware 3 or 4 times, work it all out and we'll go once"
I said all this is coming out of my head...if you want to save my time you can always pay an architect 1500 bucks first.[WHITE SMILING FACE]

Making slow progress this past week. :(
But, progress is progress.....and so far there have been no steps backwards.
Got some more sheet metal pieces sandblasted this past week and started on the chassis.
Sorry no pictures this week.

It's ok, football season is over soon. You can get back to work then ;)
