Yes the tilt slide is made by Engel as well but a few other companies make them too.
It has a gas strut with helps it tilt and return back to hoizontal witch also limits how far it can tilt.
It only tilts in the fully extended position

So another expensive backflip.
I dont know if i mentioned it before but the checker plate i got off ebay has a different size pattern on it and after one guy miss folding some and me damaginv some ive decided to replace it all with local more exlensive stuff for safty and repairs down the track.
Got a sheet yesterday and got it cut and folded.
Back to the warer jet cutters this weekend i hope.

Par for the course my friend... It seems like my build has been two steps forward and three steps back a lot of the way! But hey, it's not a "Some assembly required" kit that you bought off Amazon, right?! You're doing all the R&D, design, testing... It is what it is mate. And in the end, you'll have a beautiful, one-off piece of functional art that no one else has! Keep up the good work, I'll see you at the finish line.

What works for me is to keep pressing and building, the more I accomplish the more I want to do on it. It goes the other direction too, sometimes I found that I had to redo a lot in my build. Look with what design idea I started and it is completely different ideas now. Keep it up bud!

I hear you mate.
Ive done alot but it just hasnt been that newsworthy or its been hours of work with no noticeable difference.
Plan on doing a fair bit today.
My stainless grab rails for beside the doors arived today
Not sure if im in love with them but sometimes im just a bit to fussy
What do you think?

Bit hard to take a pic and hold it at the same time plus the studs on the back make it sit out further than when its installed but you get the gist.

You did a great work with PMF, looks great! These metal handles, I assume you need them, are looking nice with all other polish metal detail you have outside the trailer. Green canvas texture and polished metal details are looking great, nice work!

They are marine grab handles from a marine chandlery.
I got them on
ebay.
I think i would have prefeeed brushed stainless.
Being so high of the ground ill need them or well end up hanging off the door frame.
So you both aprove then?
