That looks superfantastic, Brotherman! Nice work! I am curious to know what each light, gauge and switch will actually do. As they say, great minds think alike. I too have been working on a vintage style electrical panel that will contain all of the switches and gauges that I need for my coach. Here is a sneak peek and I will update you when complete. Again, great idea and I sure like your creativity!

Thanks man and your layout looks good!
Ive got a few more switches to add to it but at the moment there is a autometer fuel gauge for the 90 liter water tank with a switch to turn it on off , an on off switch for the automatic water pump and a volt gauge with an indicator light and 3 way switch for batry 1/2

Switch panel looks great  Leave the big switch in the center, makes it look like the important one :D
Would it look a bit more balanced with the two green lights either in the centre or the outside
It brings back memories of the Falcon coupe I had when i was young. The guy I bought it from was an instrument technician at the Marsden Pt refinery. He had taken out the original instrument cluster and replaced it with a vinyl covered alloy panel, full of an array of Smiths dials and had used those same crystal cut lights for all the warning lights. ;)

Ok Dale... finally got my first prototype finished. Trying to decide if I should leave the natural birch, because it's going in the end of an upper cabinet. Or should I paint it? Decisions decisions. Anyway I knew that you would appreciate the effort.

<OT> Michael, I'm not sure if it fits with the rest of your theme, but I like the red metal flake for a background against the dark bezels and smoked chrome. Very nice layout, BTW, and I, too, like the labeling (is it laser etched?). Sorry to keep going off dales topic, but, the rocket charm (or is that a switch, too?) really drives your theme home. Love it and am glad to see that you have energy enough to gain momentum on your build. </OT>

Thanks bud. Means alot coming from you.
Obviously a bit to do still but me being me never does things by halves.
In the last month or so ive replaced everything under my landcrusier with rock crawler /race frade cromolly suspension links and panhardsxect.
Cost me more than i budgetted for but i want tbis beast to last another 20 years... i sould never have to spend more than a couple of thousand a year to rebuild everything and end up with a *new* fzj80.
The difference to drive now to two weeks ago is night and day.
Anyway... other than money excuses over. Its tear drop time again

Looking good, all going together well & "just a bit of finish work" needed to complete the build. The little things mean so much but take time...

Verry true.
I've had alot of financial or time obstacles in my way but still keep pressing o n.
It's mum's 75th this year and my 50th and she's coming in May.
I wanted to have it campable but I've been let down a bit by fabricators.
Be nice if she could see it "finnished" though.
I'm gonna try..
