Alaskan Benroy

Put the 3rd and final coat of Spar Varnish on the interior and galley wood. Also installed the LED interior lights. It's alive and powered up for the first time! Bryan

Well I was finally able to start work again on the trailer. Had to take some time off for other pressing projects.

This last week I mocked up the fenders and drilled the holes for mounting them onto the trailer as well as the taillight mounting holes. Also completed the Spar Urethane finish on the stove pullout.

Today the top 1/8" plywood was installed onto the roof. I used PL adhesive then temporarily held everything in place with 3/4" self drilling truss screws. The screws will be removed once the adhesive dries. Hurray for forward progress again!

At 65º N, are you going to be able to take her out for a shake-down cruise this year? I've heard a rumor that winters come early along the Tanana River.

Hi Tony, we have turning leaves and should have snow on the ground in about 5 weeks. Unfortunately I will not have it completed enough to do a shakedown run. But it will give me something to do on our cold dark winter nights. I live about 5 minutes from the Tanana river, so yes the winters seem to come way too early here. Bryan

Thank you "BigBlock352"! I too am a Big Block engine fan. Have had many over the years of the Chevy kind. I take it from the 352 that you have a Ford FE style engine. Bryan
