17mm with 4mm inside and 6mm outside so total thickness 27mm or it may be 21 + 4+ 6 so 31mm
I will check tomorrow afternoon (too cold outside and I'm lazy)

Go to ulrich and get the table edge moulding g.
Its 28.5 and its got one side that overlaps the edge by 2 mm aprox and the other is flush.
It has two small bumps and its dead soft so easily bent.
Ive seen it used for the same use and it gives realy slick Profesional finishes.
I'm using it on my galley to hatch seal edge

Thanks guys, I still need to fabricate this trim for the starboard door

Tonight I wired in a remote controlled on/ off / dimmer for my hatch lights

I will install the lights tomorrow night.

Taking my boy (5 1/2 yr old) for his first trip in it this weekend!

Also to come are some wooden 'rub strips' on the sides and I will also run some strips along the roof once I get the $$ for the permanent hatch cover.
(at the moment the exterior just has 4mm ply on it)

It is functional but the pretty stuff still needs to come.

Oh I also lined the wiley windows with aluminuim and drilled some drain holes

getting there but very happy..

thanks for the support

fitted 2 red lights above the 2 cool white ones
It gives a good spread of light, the red ones point down into the galley and the white ones point down and out

They illuminate a large area, they are on a dimmable remote

Also my battery is only putting out 8.6V after charger says it is full.

It is under warranty.. swapping it tomorrow I reckon.. might see if they will let me upgrade to a true deep cycle and I will pay the difference!

Ps good work on the wiring.. I know how it seems unachievable but ive spent more time doing or thinking about doing wiring than i have on any other componant and its cost me shitloads i discarded parts and ideas and im far from finished.
It sucks but we can't be everything and electrician I'm not.

Have another good trip. :pictures: It looks like you have nicer weather down there than we have up in the north, although there are a few snow lines on the weather map, if you head too far into the hills. Its wet and windy up here, not nice camping weather. :rainy: We are off to visit Maggie and Wayne (trailtroll) tomorrow night for a bbq to celebrate the finishing of their teardrop. :Flippin Burger:
