Well it has been 46 days since an update.
In that time I have done bugger all then with a shock I realised I had 15 days until I would be sleeping in this.

Anyway since then I have got
a) A towbar on the anglia
B) Wof on the anglia (Possibly not in that order)

As I cannot tow this up with my 2015 outlander to a www.oldschool.co.nz meet!

c) I have fitted the outer skin to the rear hatch (A temporary 4mm plywood skin until funds allow purchase of another sheet of signboard)
d) Built a bike rack holder (to fit last of all)

I need to do the following
e) Hinge rear hatch after..
f) Cutting the sides to allow rear hatch to lift
g) aquire and fit locks for rear hatch
h) fit weatherproof trim
g) wire up lights and anglia for trailer lights/ check her alternator
h) get WOF on trailer and pray the anglia does not die en route :worship:

Hey Frank
3 of us in an insulated 8x4 will be oodles warm. It is only supposed to be a light frost!

I am off to cut my windows out, put bug screens and exterior window trim on tonight.
Plus some other bits and bobs!

I will give it a test tow tomorrow!

So bloody excited for next weekend!

Looks spacious inside if you get the angle correct:

Still need to do the draught stopping:

But short of tail lights (Just need to be fixed to the trailer) and a WOF it is campable
(Still needs some work though)

But every step is progress

Where are you heading to for the old school gathering?

Hi Frank
Kids both came down with colds so I have postponed my camp

I am going to Hanmer which will be a nice test of the Anglia

Also I just wired up and fitted tail lights (Semi permanently)

Test drive up and down my street went well :applause: (albeit behind my outlander) :applause:

Kids won't be too impressed about that. My wife has had a cold for a couple of weeks now, with a few days off work.
That should be a nice run to test things out. From memory there aren't too many big hills?
I was talking to a guy in the mower shop yesterday, he is looking for a 2000e gear box to do a ratio swap for his Anglia to close up the ratios. I did one in a friends Cortina GT a few years ago. Did you get your alternator sorted?
