Well the trip was a success, I will post pics once I get them off my phone
I kept it real simple as it was my daughter's first trip away from home camping.

Food was simple The biggest hit was the popcorn I made in the DO, I let it sit and cool down, then they took it to the playground to share with the other kids,

WOW I did not anticipate the attention I got! It seemed everyone wanted a look at my TD:
"Where do you sleep?"
"Have you seen George Clarke's amazing spaces?"
"Do you find it cramped?"

I guess you all know the drill

My best one was a 10 year old telling my "My dad said you can't make your own caravan", (Never saw his dad).

The kids want to do it again next week!

I towed it with my wee Anglia which is always satisfying

Light from 2 tilleys is oodles. I lent one of these to a family with a 30 footer who had electricity issues so could not hook into shore power.. They were amazed the 'smallest caravan in the world' had a spare tilley lantern

Sleeping kids.. they both had colds/ snored so I struggled to sleep!

It was a good trip.. I will do it again with them soon, perhaps 2 nights so I can take tme with a yummy meal or 3

that looks like the ideal place to stay with the kids. Give it a bit of time and you may even be able to tempt your wife to come visit as well
And it does look good with the Anglia

Progress is still coming along with this little girl..
I have the wooden trim around both doors and tonight I hot glued some manila rope around the corners as trim.
It was suggested by a member on here and hides my poor saw skills on the inner trim
I will do something similar in my hatch, just need to get more rope.

Next 3 weekends are bust so I will get a weekend away before xmas

She is not a camper so I take the kids camping when she has work in the eveings (until approx midnight)
Then she can have a lie in in the morning.
