Looks great. I like the router jig. Good not to rush it. Remember we need pics.

Didn't get much done today, did some wiring and cut outs in doors for the latches. Test fit the windows and latches, next step stain and varathane.

Struggling with building the doors, mangled the plywood when my router got away from me. Planning to start again on the weekend after a trip to the lumber yard.

In the meantime I ripped a few strips off a piece of oak lumber to cover up the gaps in the plywood joints that didn't quite line up.

Your build is looking very nice and progressing well too. :applause:

Where did you source the square windows or they are home made? Reason for asking is I plan on glueing my build windows out of smoked acrylic and your windows are looking close to what I am envisioning. Thanks!

Thanks for the kind comments. The windows are 18"x15" and I got them from http://www.teardroptrailers.net/. With the weak Canadian dollar plus shipping costs they turned out to be quite expensive but they were exactly what I wanted and this was the only place I could find them.

I've been a bit of a nitpicker building these doors and have made a few changes so they have taken way longer than I had originally planned. I have some more work to do before I treat them with CPES and 3 coats of Helmsman then I can bolt them on and move on to building the back hatch.

Yes they are, I wanted windows that I could keep open when it's raining.

My wife bought me a DIY drapery "kit", I guess it's time to dust off the old Kenmore thread injector and make some curtains.

After taking a week or so off I'm back working on the doors. I'm finally happy with them mechanically, just need to cut some cover plates from 3 mm plywood to cover up the t-nuts them they'll be ready for CPES and varathane.

Attempting to pre-bend the plywood for the hatch, we'll see how this works out.
