Due to work constraints I have not been able to work on the trailer much. It now is stored inside my other trailer.
I have been designing and redesigning in my head over and over.
I am considering adding a water tank that I originally was not going to have.
I was considering three options.
My original thought was to use portable 5-7 gallon jugs and fill as we go.
Down side is moving them regularly (my back cringes about this option).
Second option, a tank mounted between the wheel wells above floor level(25 gallons, 6" high).
Third option, due to frame design, is two smaller 13 gallon tanks mounted lower.
The Timbren suspension I am using has the option of a cross member that is three inches lower than the bottom of the frame (good start to skid plate).
That would put the two tanks that are 14" tall, 6 inches below floor level. That would reduce ground clearance, but also reduce Cg.
The loss of clearance still puts the trailer clearance better than the TV.

Any thoughts?

Spent some time on the trailer today.
Will probably regret it in the AM, the way our work load has been.140970

The wheels and tires are temporary. I will be using 80 series alloys with bigger tires.
They will match tow TV for spare compatibility. I have had two trailer tires fail and ripped off tongue jack and stabilizer jacks on the same trip.
Redundancy is my goal this time around. One is none, two is one.

A little progress. Framed in one wall, window is 48" and rear outside storage access doors framed.

Thanks for the kind words!
This is actually my first build, so I'm learning as I go.

Passenger's side wall mostly framed. Wall headers done except one. Too much enthusiasm and heat warped the last one.
Another trip to the steel yard is needed.

Very nice build. You are doing a beautiful job on the metal. Inspires me to try. Is the tube 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 with 1/8 wall? As for the ride height. Unless your vehicle has a 20+ inch clearance I dont think I would be worrying to much about the ride height. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for sharing your build. Great job. Look forward to following you this winter.

Thanks! Got a lot of inspiration from other's builds, so I feel its only right to share my experience with my build.

The walls are made from several different pieces.
The top is 2x2 angle 1/8 inch thick
Then 2x1 .065 sandwiched to a 1x1 .065.
"studs" are 1x1 .065
The corner posts and bottom edge is 2x2 .120
The frame is 3x2 .120, 2x2 .120, and center is 2x2 3/16
