No kerfing. I wondered if I would need to but the ply cooperated after plenty of time with a spray bottle of water and heat gun on warm setting. I am hoping to get the exterior skinned with the canvas/glue method this next weekend.

Care to share some details on the TV swivel?

Also, what hinges will you use for the lower Galley doors and how do you plan to seal them?

I plan to have the TV and swivel finished and installed here in just a few weeks. Basically the flat panel tv is just mounted to a sturdy, hollow base that fits in that opening and pivots on a hollow, 1/2" diameter pipe. The tv cord passes through the middle of the pipe and is protected as the tv swivels. I will have to cut the plug off the bottom of the tv cable and then re-attach it once it is all set up.
