Looks nice, I like the frame, plenty stout. Also looks like it might tip the scales at about 1500# when finished, depending on the "extra" stuff (battery, etc .). Keep posting progress pictures!

Yes, 1500 but life is a compromise. Also with the frame it sits higher, bed of trailer itself is 22" off the ground. I did not want a dedicated camp trailer, the box will come off by lifting it 3" placinf 3" pvc pipe under and eoll it off.
I have kept track of weights more out of curiosity as in reading thru the site others often asked how much this or that weighed. There is no 110 volt, no ac, no built in stove/sink, etc. it is built for long weekends into the mountains on single track roads pulled by a 4runner. No, not for rock crawling either.

Seems to take forever to build and ours is not intricate. Life intrudes. Started last mid October, had hoped to be farther along. But marriage, weight training and cardio get in the way. Plus a regular job.
But tonight installed the roof fan and box flooring.
It is 10' overall simply so the lab has the front floor to sleep on, no dogs in a bed.
Sides are a close match to Toyota magnetic grey. Roof is white.

Simple 12 volt wireing, nothing special. But I do think the 100 amp deep cycle battery is to big.
When I bought the overhead lights and usb ports, I did not realize they draw phantom power. But all are nano amps which together draw way under 1/2 amp hour.
There is no radio, just lights, usb ports and a 12 volt plug in.
Iphones for music, no radio or cell reception where we go.

Box finally set down.
Hour of work, 2 jacks, blocking, wide eyed wife. Sits 1/4" to far forward.

Fits and spurts. Pity one has to work.
How many people install drip caps?

Debating whether to install the drip caps. But yes, they would be painted black.

No I have not changed. Must be the site.
I take them with my phone. Email them to myself so they are smaller and attach like normal in a message.

Nice build. I installed drip caps to keep water out of the door before first seal. Helps a bit. I did have them power coated to match my black door and black porch lamps.
