I just used a good exterior grade primer, 2 coats. And 3 coats exterior paint on the bottom of the floor. Epoxied the bottom of the walls. PL'd the walls to the side of the floor sandwiching the verticle leg of the frame angle iron. It is sealed nicely. I used up any varnish I had in the house on the exterior. Thinned 50%, then 25% for the last couple coats. Covered with aluminum skins. Maybe overkill? But what ever it takes!!

Got some poly and stain on and finished the interior cabinets... I've finally quit worrying about everything and I'm starting to get Jazzed up... It's amazing I've built all my cabinets out of scrap 3/4 birch plywood.... very cool.... :D

Finished up all the DC power this morning with a new battery and box. Mocked up the lights and speakers in the hatch and working on hatch supports, and finished up interior trim.

VERY nice setup.

I just started reading your build thread. When I saw your frame design, I fell in love. Below is a design I came up with when I was contemplating building my TD:

Now you understand why I like your build. The rest seems to be coming together well. I'm not far from you... maybe we'll bump into each other after you get it finished. I'm over in Va Beach.

I look forward to seeing it When you get it done! Good luck!
