4x8 footprint Gypsy wagon or A.S.S.

After much debate this is what I decided to build. If things go well, I will have a gypsy wagon. If they do not go well, I will have Another Storage Shed A.S.S.

Goals for this build:

Light enough to pull with the old Dodge wagon.
Insulated enough for moderate Oregon temps.
Sturdy, and hopefully long lasting construction.

I've made several drawings, modeled it in 3D, and I'm a few days in to building the base and ledges now.

I'm using 2x2 (with the occasional 2x4 used in critical areas) framing with 1.5" EPS foam and plywood sandwich. I've used 1/2" and 3/8" plywood so far to get a sturdy base. The rest will be luan, maybe some 1 ply, and I'm going to waterproof with canvas / titebond / paint. I also have small CNC router so I plan on adding some cool appliques later in the game.

The plan is to use a harbor freight trailer, this may change. It's a 4x8 base with 12" ledges. The side walls will be 4x8 similar to the floor but lighter weight, and angled out 7 degrees which puts the bed height 3ft off the floor.

I would appreciate if anyone has some measurements for a 4x8 harbor freight trailer, I need the length from the corner of the 4x8 box to where the fender starts. It looks centered but I can't tell how long that fender is.

Thank you.

Today I made another ledge sandwich, and some ledge brackets. It's been hovering at 100F so I didn't spend as much time as I wanted on it. The 2x4 brackets are basic and they work, I can make them look good later.

You can see the layered construction on the front edge. It's stronger than I thought, and will only get stronger once the front and rear sections are screwed to it.
