I may have to look into this vs aluminum.

After I get the second coat done I will take some close up pictures

I got the second coat of bed liner sprayed on the side. Below are some close up shots. For comparison I added the picture of the floor I shot with the shutz gun.

I found if you cut these amounts in half it will fit perfectly in the 20 oz. cup of the HVLP gun.
750 ml = 25.3 oz – Raptor Bed liner
250 ml = 8.4 oz – Hardner
150ml = 5.0 oz – Reducer
100 ml = 3.3 oz – toner/paint

I had a leftover fiberglass test board (it is not sanded) and I wanted to see what the bed liner looked like rolled on. I know the bed liner can be rolled on but I have never tired it before.

I had a little of the bed liner left over from the second coat I used with the HVLP gun. So this is urethane reduced like used in the gun and previous measurements from earlier post.

I had a left over foam roller from the fiberglass/epoxy I did https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006 ... UTF8&psc=1
I believe you can get these at the big box stores. They are used for metal with a 1/4 nap.

This is the image of a quick one coat. I think you could get a pretty smooth finish this way and would probably be a lot quicker than with a HVLP gun.

Just thought I would throw this out there for extra info. I may do my roof like this to see how it goes. It really wouldn't be noticeable since you would usually only be looking at the roof or side at one time. I will add an extra coat on the test board later as I go along.

I was gone for a few weeks on training and finally able to get back on the teardrop.

I got the middle wall glued to the exterior wall.

Glued in the insulation and cut out the channels for the wiring to run through.

Sanded down the insulation so the interior wall rests flat on the middle wall

I still have the other wall to complete as well.

I started on the interior wall.

Sanded it down and applied two coats of stain. I still need to put on a polycrylic clear finish.

These have not been secured to the middle wall yet. I still need to run the wires.

Got the wires ran and dado's cut for the bulk head, galley counter top and flooring for the mattress.

The router bit jumped up on me. Good news it the mattress will be hiding it. I will fill it in with some wood filler and sand it down though.

Will start the other wall this week.

Still looking good.

If it suits you and you don't mind taking the time, another way to fix that "holiday" (the router boo boo) would be to route out a slightly larger area with cut lines running with the grain, then glue in a Dutchman patch of matching grain. You could take a small rectangular section all the way from the floor to the sill of the door. The vertical grain lines would mask the repair somewhat, likely to the point that it would be relatively unnoticeable. Just another option that someone recommended to me back when I had a similar mistake.

That could work. I will think about it and if I feel like taking the time to do it. Of course if I don't I'm sure it is one of those things I would always know it is there lol

I have been working on the mattress floor. I got the storage access doors cut out.

I plunge cut the door openings using a skill saw and straight edge trying to make the best cut I could. Then I used a router and 1/2" rabbet bit to take down 3/8" out of the 3/4" plywood.

Then I got another piece of 3/4" plywood and cut what are the actual doors to the routed size (1" larger with the rabbet cuts). Then I routed out 3/8" on the bottom side of the doors so they fit flush in the 3/4" plywood.

I don't know if that was the best way to do all of that but that is what I went with. Definitely a table saw and routing table would have been handy.

Getting the floor sealed with the mix. I got the first coat on. When the floor is done I will move onto the other side wall. Hopefully I will be ready to put the walls up by Sunday.
