Progress has been slow, but all the roof spars are in place now.ImageImageImage

Interior ceiling is skinned. Used a sheet of 1/8" closed cell PVC sheet. Used high bond tape and staples to attach it to the spars. I will be adding a layer of pine T&G panels to the inside. That will cover all the staples.ImageImage

Looking good. I really like the tongue and groove on the interior. I'm interested to see how we'll the ACM curves over the roof. It's coming along!!

Put up the finished ceiling today. More tongue and groove pine. Now we just need the headboard and cabinets and the inside will basically be done.

Wiring this weekend. Got a jump start tonight by mounting and labeling the terminal strips. They are located behind the headboard. I will use them to terminate all of the cabin DC, and the incoming trailer lighting harness.ImageImage

Didn't accomplish too much today, but the cabin lights are mounted and working.

Have not posted in a while, but am making some progress. Hoping to get the exterior done in the next month or so.

Looking good. I had wondered where you had been. If I remember correctly you are a sign maker. Can you tell me how long you think the wrap might last?

The exterior is made from aluminum composite material, which is basically a sandwich made with a polyethylene core and aluminum faces. I bonded the ACM to the plywood walls. To finish it, I am using a vinyl wrap. It is the same material used for vehicle wraps. Basically a great big sticker.

We first put down a solid layer of gloss pearl, which was a stock color. The turquoise and red were printed. You can see it coming off of the printer in one of the pictures.

The vinyl is a 3M product and is rated for a 10 year life. I plan on storing the finished camper indoors, so it should last for many years.
