That is amazingly beautiful!
I know I would never be able to build anything that beautiful, kit or not.
The people in this group are unbelievably talented.

The doors will seal against foam. They utilize a belcrank and rods to latch the door top and bottom. Warning, this style of construction is addictive. I'm sure I will be building a CLC kayak or two next winter.

Do they use an external flat plate to make the seal? Or internal?

I am looking at doing a two man canoe to carry on the roof of our off road exhibition trailer I am building.
