Vardo build

Postby Trailerbilly » Fri Nov 25, 2016 10:16 am

I'm normally a pretty private person, but I've gotten so much inspiration and so many good ideas from the other build journals, I thought I'd share our build as well.

I used to be a private person; but then, like you, I felt I should share my build. I was very glad I did that because it forced me to document everything so that I have a record; and, knowing that people were watching and cheering me on kept me going. This is a great group of people.

Best wishes on your build. We'll be watching! :SG

Well, I look forward to watching a vardo build! I agree with the others, setting up a build journal is really helpful down the line in having documentation on the whole thing. This site is full of expertise, and people are super helpful - I got a lot of great advice along the way. welcome and I look forward to watching this build!

Thanks for the welcome and encouragement!
This is as far as I got before the thanksgiving holiday, hopefully I can get back at it next week. Im still getting the hang of posting photos from my iPad, but I'll get more photos up as I get them.

Now that the holiday is over, I moved it into a temporary shelter for the winter. I got the rest off the siding on the ledge base and installed the top. Tonight I'll try to design some ornate supports for the ledge...
