Days 1-2 - Putting Together the Trailer

We decided to go with the Northern Tool 4 foot by 8 foot trailer. I thought that putting together a trailer would be ridiculously easy... Turns out it's not. I don't care to go into the whole specifics on how we tried to build the trailer but here's some pictures ...it sucked. But it's done.

Please give advice! My husband and I are winging it from 4 or so loose sets of plans and basically are figuring it out as we go. We have lots of questions but just waiting until we get to that stage to deal with them.

It looks like the pictures don't post well. I'll just link to the blog because I think that will be easier.

Love the copious use of gravity clamps on your profile post.

What region of Texas are you in?
Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".

Cool. Ther3 are a bunch of teardrop builders and owners in the metroplex. You’re in good company.

I am building a 5x8 on a Northern Tool trailer kit. Here is my pics. It's been a nightmare but I'll share any info I can!

Also, I mentioned that I want to use two layers of reflectix in the cabin... Is that okay or completely pointless?

"Harbor Freight Ratchet and Socket Set" - :)

Wow, putting this together without some - that's some challenge. Looks awesome though - especially like learning about products with less VOC's as options.
