Just a thought, but I would bet Owens Corning has a tech support phone. I'd call them and tell them what you're up to and see what they say about water resistance etc. of their panels.

Other than that I would make sure that there held in place with some strong adhesive. I'd also think some type of mechanical fastener like fender washers/screws would not be a bad idea too. One of those panels coming loose, flying out from under the camper on the road, might not be fun for the vehicle behind you. Especially if it gets airborne.

I like you're recycling the original camper parts and am enjoying your build.

Placed the floor on the trailer today. Takes up most of the workshop. Tomorrow I will bolt it down. I still need to coat the sides with the fence post paint . Since it was just me trying to move the floor into place, I lifted the whole floor with three ratchet straps a few inches above the trailer. Once it was in the correct position I lowered one side at a time. Man did that help alot. Going have to figure the limited space issue out. Don't want to leave it out in the rain but can't progress anymore without the trailer floor attached.Image

I know this is a month late but I think I would have covered the bottom of the floor with 1/4 ply and then painted it with under coat or roofing tar. I think you will find ot that there is enough crap on the highways to start tearing out the insulation. Just my .02 cents

I ended up leaving the insulation out. I just used the tar on the bottom a TON of coats.

Alright. Framed out the walls and added insulation. About a 2 day project. Still think I can consider this a Tear Drop. Haha ImageImageImageImage

Did some more work today. I coated the exterior camper walls with some Black bueaty last month and today we did our roof cover. What a pain in the ass but it went really well. Glued it all down then added exterior staples. To the sides for strength. We are going to use tounge and groove cedar on the exterior. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Thanks. Yes it is. Screen and door installed. Fits perfectly. I'm really liking it now. Its definitely sturdy. Next will be clear coat on this side and exterior trim. I'm looking for black rubber trim to go around the roof and to separate the cedar and white paint. Does anyone know where I can find some or a good idea on what to use? Not trying to break the bank.
