I should have been clearer. Plan to build in under 50 hrs. This from of building uses a fiberglass skeleton frame. No wood .When using wood at some point you will have to glue, nail are screw into the end grain. Then add an alum. Cap that has memory and try to return back flat. It will be puling at any fasters that may being used. Wood get wet just from the water in the air. When it gets cold. In the picture the new outer ring .Was cut and laid up in 4hr and 12 minutes. For the left and right side. Used two envelopes and a cutting stick. DO NOT USE BODY FILLER AS SOME HAVE SUJESTED WILL FALL OUT AT SOME POINT .This form of building with fiberglass has been around for over 70 years are more Not in the last few years as some have claimed .155752

Finley received my door jams. There designed to fit the frame profile. That way different accents can be added. They were designed for a 5 by 5 by 10 feet long off-road trailer with pop up roof. Sadly the side panels were removed stolen. Set the cash back some. So now building a 7 foot sleeper/weekender To make the doors fit will angle the top and bottom near the fenders. Cannot move the axle back 60 /40 rule. This way of building can be done with a few hours of work and last for a 100 years or more. If you plan to try this No big investment in tools $20.00 U.S . Cannot make a mistake .Should be able to have your local fiberglass shop modify a excising tooling. Received some hate .Not the one that is trying to get $35.00 a running foot. Cost should not be more than $10.00 a running foot

Finley a reçu mes embouteillages.

Shame on me I never seem to have time to work on the trailer. Had under two hours to change door jamb and bound door and side divider . That will make it so the skins are smaller, Wire run and two are more side profile have the skins made. 6 hr. to get to this point. If I can get time under 20 hr. to finish. There a gent that just built a fiberglass skeleton frame with aluminum signboard bought doors and windows 10 x 5 x5 sides .21 hours for full trailer pod build

How'd you do the seals on your doors? And your windows. How'd you put those in? Got a DC electrical system in that little camper?

Details, man, details! ;)

Windows are fiberglass wily with cutting board glass tempered .Their lighter ' one moving part . Replaceable with something hard when going through trees and no added cost of $30.00 to put in a box .Will be bonded to what ever the door skins are . I f you look hard with one eye . there a 3/4 in / 19mm lip recessed 7/8'' / 22mm in the door jamb. .On the last 3 trailers used home depot D seals .Try to keep outer door skin recessed !/8'' / 3mm in to door jamb. As these are being built to be weekend rentals for the smart car type .Keeping dc electrical system down to fan on top ,two outer lights over doors Cheap AAA battery lights in side . 3 12v plugin . .one 110 v AC strip Try to keep electrical down .So inside can be steam clean all the rental bugs flea ticks bed bugs pot smells .Steam I believe is safer than flea bombs

I preferred these there finished around the edges that helps make them stronger .Seen some that had smaller side walls straight cut opening near the tires asking $4oo. a set. Received for $236 US. The tooling is up for sale. Been informed they were made for 12'' wheels. With high side walls take up some space on teardrops built with HF trailers. I have had 205 13'' tires no problems
