Most Importantly Piper has approved of the work so far!

Neat concept. I thought of an A-liner for a long time, but ultimately decided to build a teardrop.
Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".

Also, the Cabin is setting on 2x4's to allow us to set the side walls at the same level as the bottom of the floor section.

I think that is coming along great. It is going to turn into a great finished build.

The lower body is fully skinned! Now it's starting to look like I imagined.

Here's a view from where the door will be located. Obviously the cross braces will be cut out before installing the door. I think it's time for a tall cold one!

Next step, after cleaning up the garage, will be mocking up the bed frame and the cabinets. Unfortunately, Vacation is over and back to work tomorrow... It may be a few weeks before posting more progress.

My apologies for lack up updates... Unfortunately the trailer project has been on the back burner due to other projects and being unable to work in the Summer heat out here in the desert. Now that the Garage isn’t too hot to work in, I need to make some progress. At least the “other project” I built turned out well... (You can see the Piper’s Cubhouse in the background)

I didn't realize Glasair had a high-wing taildragger kit. Flashbacks of my ol' rag and tube Avid Flyer. (It too was yellow and suspect it still is.)
