The following are pics I found online that inspired me to do this build. I would also like to mention the vintage plans right here on this forum also inspired me. This has been a fun project :D

AND THE FINALE!!!!
I walked into the Secretary of State today with a weight slip, a sheet signed off for the police inspection, and a huge stack of receipts and walked out a while later with a "Permanent Trailer" license plate for a 2019 Assembled Trailer!!!!!

I invested approximately $2750.00 worth of materials and 300-400 actual hours of work into this project.

I would like to thank you all for following along on this adventure!!! :D

And if you're camping in Michigan (mostly Northern Michigan & the Upper Peninsula), I hope to see you!!! 8)

GET YOUR CAMP ON!

Thanks Pete.
Well, I have to work until 7am Friday, then it's off on a 9 day maiden voyage! We are going to be camping mainly along the Lake Superior shoreline in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. :)

Thank you Tom (& Linda).
Well, the maiden voyage is going well. We are approx 450-500 miles from home. The car is a bit underpowered for some of the grades we've climbed & it has a little wiggle above 65mph, so I'm avoiding the freeway as much as I can. I'm sure a stabilizer would help that, but I have another tow vehicle in the works that I plan to use for future trips. We are currently camped on the shore of Lake Superior and are having a great time. 8)

That wiggle above 65..... Have you checked your hitch weight?
Perhaps move a little weight forward to test?
Empty any tanks to shift the weight?

With the shape of your build the air pressure from your speed
could be counter balancing the existing hitch weight to some
extent?

Thanks Pete, I guess it never really occurred to me that it could possibly be lifting on the hitch due to windforce at higher speeds, but it very well could be. I'll work at shuffling coolers and etc to see if it makes a difference. Thanks again. :)

Well, I have experimented with shifting the weight around and the wiggle above 65mph remains. But, the car really struggled to go that fast while towing anyways. Plans are in the works to have a bigger tow vehicle by spring, so it should take care of the wiggle. I have a '84 Ford F150 that should be road-ready by then, but I'm always browsing online for some sort of old hotrod car or truck to bring the cool factor to a higher level! :D

The last weekend of September I took this to the Thrifter Sisters Vintage Flea Market in Escanaba, MI and entered it in the show. We didn't win, but I didn't really expect to, as it was a vintage camper show. But it was a cool show and we met some very nice people. There were several people using restored classics as tow vehicles, so the cool factor went way up in my opinion.
Just a thought: there really aren't many shows for homebuilt campers, but for those who enjoy showing, join up with the Tin Can Tourists, they are an all age inclusive organization, so the fact that yours is not vintage really doesn't matter. They have been very welcoming to me & my build.
