I like the way you did your stove slider.

But why am I surprised?

I started working on the interior. The first project is a narrow ledge with some storage underneath. I decided on a panel look that matches the exterior.

The main function is to conceal my electrical panel. The ledge is divided into 3 sections, with the electrical panel in the middle section. There isn’t much storage here due to the rounded nose of the front of the trailer. But it makes a nice place to toss a wallet or cell phone.

I just received my vent fan, so I will be working on the framing. The rounded roof means I need to figure out a leveled flange.

The forward shelf/storage is complete and glued and screwed in place. A piano hinge was used for the three sections. The middle section will house all the wiring. The fuse box is in place. Once all the trim pieces are in place I can start running wires around and installing lights.

All the ribs are in place and the birch headliner is finished. I did the headliner in three sections, and glad I did. It was a challenge getting them in place and bent.

The top where the roof vent is located is a curved surface. I will have to build a flange to accept the curve for the roof vent to lay flat on. But that is an issue for down the road. You can see in the photo that the top of the rib is curved, and the underside is flat. I did this so that the interior vent trim will lay flat to the ceiling and not need compensation trim piece. You can see what I mean from the interior photo. The ceiling is curved, then runs flat in the area of the vent, then curves again moving forward.
Also, I decided not to build a cabinet in the area of the vent. Rather, I will use a cargo net for storage. I could always add some cabinets in the future, but for now, I want to keep the cabin as open as possible.

The interior is finally finished. I decided on a cargo net for storage rather than a built in cabinet. The cabin is more open, and I usually keep stuff in a duffel bag which fits nicely in the net.
The forward shelf is also complete with reading lights. The middle storage shelf housed the breaker panel.

EPILOGUE:
Lil'Woody was completed the first week of June. I immediately hooked it up and headed for the nearest truck scale. Weighing in at an even 700 lbs dry.
The last test was for water leaks. Wood hasn't been out the garage since conception.
I waited for a good downpour and pulled Wood out of the garage.....bone dry after the rainstorm!
